Disaster Recovery has always been considered significant and even more, currently. However, there are challenges that usually arise with the existence of disaster recovery, even with the time within which it has been in operation. These challenges include but are not limited to traditional methods being ineffective in conducting modern businesses and applications. With change comes the need for management of change in existence. Another challenge is that it is difficult to explain IT disaster risk to the business so as to get it to understand the logic behind the risk that has surfaced. It is also difficult to prioritize disaster recovery projects.
